Wow, today was a long day. Classes started, which was exciting, but I am exhausted! Just before I went to my first class, my dad came! He decided to come visit me quickly this morning which was great. 🙂 I had my Art History class, my New Testament Literature and Theology class, and my Philosophical and Ethical Issues class. They all seem like lots of fun! It was weird though, to go to school, and then just come back to my dorm. Its very different for me, and I’m still getting used to the whole college thing I guess. I have managed to have a little fun today, but mostly I just did homework. After my homework, Amanda and Jon came! That was fun, and I was glad to see some people from home. 🙂 I’m pretty tired, so here are some pictures. Enjoy while I finish my homework and then get some sleep before class/my first day of work tomorrow!
This is our washer. It’s broken. My friend Nicole and I put the magnets from the fridge on it. You can see its full of water and Tide, so no one can do the laundry until its fixed. Bummer. 😦
Here is part of our kitchen, and don’t worry, those dishes are clean. 🙂
Here is the fridge with all the magnets. 🙂 They are pretty fun to play with and write messages with!
This is one of our lounges that we can hang out in. It’s hard to see, but just outside is the library and Garlock, the dining hall.
This is my first college assignment that took 3 hours. I had to read from my Art History book, which, by the way, is massive. Those are just the notes from 16 pages. At least I know we’re not starting the year off slow!
Anyways, I’ll write more later as always.
